Guldfaxe's Abilities
Name: Neon
Type: Light (Magic; Tier I)
Effect: The user fires an explosive shot, nearly three times as strong as a regular shot. May cause physical burns on the target if it is weak to Light Magic. Can be used as a follow-up to "Funeral" (to make Neon Funeral) or to "Sparring" (to make Neon Sparring).
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: Overheats lance power for 1 post.
Name: Gollt Gungnir
Type: Light (Magic; Tier I, I.V, II, respective to the number of posts used to charge)
Effect: Guldfaxe starts charging his lance in place. Movement can't be performed while charging, but the charging process can be cancelled. After charging for 1, 2, or 3 posts in a row, the attack can be released. Charging for one post releases a near light-speed beam that can pierce a human body, two releasing a larger
beam of similar speed that cut through steel, three releasing a gigantic laser of slightly faster speed that can cut a mountain in half.
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: After a successful shot, this ability cannot be used again equal to the number of posts used to charge. It does not overheat lance power.
Name: Sparring
Type: Boosting (Speed and Strength; Tier I)
Effect: Magic that increases the user's speed and leg strength. This improves kick power and running speed. Plus, it diminishes stamina loss while dashing. If the user pierces something with its lance while running, it can be followed up by a slam to the ground and a regular Light shot, or by "Neon" (to make Neon Sparring). Note that, if Neon Sparring is used, the effect of Sparring disappears after completing the attack and it immediately enters the cooldown period. Lasts for five posts.
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: Any sort of Power-Boosting magic (including this one) can't be used for two posts.
Name: Funeral
Type: Light, Fyre (Magic; Tier II, can be broken if hit by another Magic Tier II or greater)
Effect: The user casts a magic set of Light armor around the target. This armor, however, is completely rigid and features no articulation whatsoever, holding the target in place for 1 post. Can be followed up by an air throw and "Neon" (to make Neon funeral), or by "Balmung" (to make Slicing Funeral).
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: If used alone, it can't be used again for three posts. If used along with Neon, it also brings along its cooldown: lance power overheats for 2 posts. If used along with Balmung, it makes the user slower during the next post.
Name: Balmung
Type: Light, Fyre (Magic; Tier II)
Effect: The user extends the lance's reach and power with light - just like a lightsaber. It still retains the maneurability of a regular lance, but it must be handed carefully, since it can cut and pierce things by mere pokes. Lasts for five posts. Can be used as a follow up to "Funeral" (to make Slicing Funeral), but it will only last for the post that Funeral was used.
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: Cannot be used for two posts after it is performed. Also makes the user slower during the first post of the cooldown period.
Name: Guldtoppr
Type: Light, Fyre (Magic)
Effect: The user creates a magic horse out of light. It has a base Speed equal to Tier III. This horse may be used for transportation, or detonated near the enemy for use as a tricky "suicide bomber", with a Tier strength of I.V. May be enhanced by "Sparring" to make "Sleipnir" (Tier IV speed), or by "Balmung" to make "Glorious Jousting". Balmung's handling becomes much easier during Glorious Jousting.
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: Lasts for five posts, unless the horse is detonated. Once used, cannot be used again for two posts. If "Sleipnir" was used, it also makes the user unable to use boosting magic for one post. If "Glorious Jousting" was used, "Balmung" can't be used again for one post.
Name: Gespenst
Type: Transformation (Boosts Magic by II Tiers and Speed by II Tiers)
Appearance:
Effect: Guldfaxe changes into his Gespenst form. In this form, his magical power improves drastically. His lance morphs into two shields he carries on his shoulders, which can be detached. The mechanism that improves magic shot power that was built into the lance is built into Guldfaxe's gauntlets instead, and, since the energy is concentrated on a smaller area, it can be executed in a much stronger fashion. Also, he gains access to new abilities, and his speed improves dramatically. It's not Korosensei fast (Mach 20 speed), but it makes him ten times faster than a horse and as agile as a mountain monkey, while also having tremendous reflexes for dodging. Also, he gets a cool new set of armor to boot. May last for 1 to 8 posts, up to the user's choice and/or needs.
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: Can't be used again after a number of posts equal to the number of posts it was used. Also, the user becomes much slower and his lance power overheats during the first post of cooldown, plus any Cooldowns he may have carried over from previous abilities exclusive to this form. In the case of a "gauntlet power" overheat being carried over, the overheat is summed for both gauntlets into the lance overheat period. For example, if the left gauntlet is overheated for two posts and the right one is overheated for three, and Gespenst is deactivated, the regular form's lance will have five posts of overheat. Also, the lack of a lance during this form means less physical damage output.
Name: Nero
Type: Light (Magic; Tier I.V)
Effect: An upgrade of Neon, which is only usable during Gespenst form. The user, pointing his hand towards the target, fires multiple shots (all of these equivalent to the power of a regular Neon) from the sides of the gauntlet used. The shots have reduced explosion range, but they still deal as much damage on hit as a regular Neon. Also, they home in to the target accurately, and will not explode if they come into contact with other solid materials or magic attacks - they go right through them. They will only detonate if they reach their target successfully. Also, as a merely aesthetic change, this ability fires black-colored shots, instead of golden ones, when compared to Neon.
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: Overheats the power of the gauntlet used to fire the shots for two posts.
Name: Fantôme
Type: Boosting (Strength and Speed; Tier II)
Effect: An upgrade of Sparring, which is only usable during Gespenst form. Improves leg performance drastically. This, coupled with Gespenst's natural high speed, gives the user a tremendous speed boost. Also, when the user dashes, he becomes completely invisible during the first second of the dash. It also gives the user an immense stamina boost and reaction time, making it great for prolonged counterattacks. The user's kicks during the duration of this ability become strong enough to cause a big crack on a giant lump of iron ore. Lasts for 6 posts.
Limits/Cost/Cooldown: Boosting abilties cannot be used for three posts, including this one.
Note: Overheated lance/gauntlets cannot fire magic shots/offensive magic abilities during the posts they remain overheated.

Re: Guldfaxe's Abilities
Not even a magic gunlance? D:
It doesn't really fire any... physical ammo. I should have made that clear. My apologies. :I
These "shots" are more like magic blasts. You know, like the Valkyria Lances from the Valkyria Chronicles series. Though the magic is, in this case, fired from the inside of the gunlance. NOT from the body of the gunlance itself, like in Valkyria Chronicles. Same stuff applies to the jet pack; it's pure magic.
Now you can grade them properly, I assume.
EDIT:
Changed the jetpack to boosting magic, and the gunlance to a regular magic-amplifying lance.
A shame, it is. BUt if I wanna keep food on my plate, I must!...
