PostSubject: The True Monarch... Returning Home.   Fri Feb 28, 2014 12:35 pm

The veil that covered my face was thick enough to hide my features from the captain, but just barely. The small room in the portside made me nervous, as they had just built it. Everything has changed.. My merchant clothing lead me to be seen as a lady of proprietary- rich and quiet. The captain who I was planning to employ stood, staring down at me. I knew his face well, even though I had just met him. His reputation as a Pirate Hunter proceeded him.

"So, what is your answer? Will you proceed to take me where I wish to go? The Omnivia Shores are hard to reach, by land."

I let him stare into my eyes- muddled brown contacts covering their cascading colors.

Ajax stood proudly and cracked a wide smile, connecting his hands together behind his head. "Of course!" Ajax laughed, gesturing the lady toward the docks where a massive ship towered over the others, sailors and even civilians stood on the dock just gazing and its beauty. "I am honored you chose me to escort you. My Tuatha De Danann should not have a problem!"
Ajax walked a few steps away before shouting. "Alright, ya' dogs! We're setting sails to the Omnivia Shores!!" Ajax smirked as he turned back to the lady before him. "If you don't mind my asking, why are you going there of all places?"

Clearing my throat, I cracked a smile, knowing my eyes were yellow with joy.

"Because, I must return to my beginnings. I will tell you more once we set sail. Until then, please refrain from inquiring more of me."

Knowing the contacts were melting from the sheer force of my emotions, I walked ahead of Ajax, quickly heading up the long ramp.

Ae'Ire... How I've missed you...

Ajax laughed as he followed along. "Heh, alright, I understand." Ajax tightened the straps of his sabres and coat, finally reaching his ship. "My crewmates shouldn't be too much of a problem.. Too much.." Ajax sighed, climbing up the ladder and onto the deck. "To the Omnivia Shore!"

Double Z, fully armored and standing on the edge of the ship, his hammer strapped to his back in the event that the ship would be attacked. As his captain rose up the ramp, unto the ship, accompanied by a mysterious woman, he saluted both, "Welcome, both of you. The more the merrier-Carlson and Peters page 808"

He walked over to a cannon, resting his arm as the journey began.

The first thing I noticed was the absence of a lurch. The horizontal sails caught the wind beautifully, Ajax's instructions containing the sailors in a magnificent dance. They climbed, furled, unfurled, and pulled as he instructed, looking like machines. The ship, Tuatha De Danann, almost felt living beneath my feet, sliding through the waves like a knife through butter.

"I would like to know the time that we would arrive, and your first and second mates- Captain."

Avoiding anyone seeing my eyes, I looked down.

Ajax nodded, as he pointed to his First Mate, "First Mate Nikolai Forge!" Then pointed to the man who was the first to greet us, "Master Gunner Zzyor!" Ajax proceeded to walk over to Zzyor and patted him on the shoulder. "Ready for another voyage?"
Ajax laughed as he walked to the side of the ship and leaned off the side, looking down at the waters, and then back up to the passenger. "How about sharing your name with us?"

Double Z stood upright as his captain moved his direction, nodding with enthusiasm, "Of course sir, always ready for a journey."

Walking over to the woman, he bowed, looking up at her once again. he began to wonder who excactly he was, but refrained from asking any questions until his captain allowed him to.

"Hello miss." he said, retaining his usual formal tone.

Nikolai stood to hear somebody chanting his name. "Hm?" He asked as he walked over to Ajax. He had just returned from a long slumber. "Might I ask who this woman is?"

"My name. Is Finvarre."

Slowly, I pulled off my veil, staring at them with white irises- proof of my nervousness. My now long white hair fell out of the wrappings, hitting my waist. Staring at them all, I swallowed- silently glad that we had already left port.

"I have come home."

"Aha! Well then, Finvarre, welcome home!" Ajax smiled, connecting his hands together behind his head balancing himself off the side of the ship. "Hrm.. That name sounds familiar, to say the least.." Ajax pondered before dismissing his thought with a smile.
Ajax looked toward the bright sun, a few clouds around here and there, and with this sight Ajax gained a frown. "There's going to be a storm.."

"Well, I've just proven that a 12-hour slumber can do wonders for your body." Nikolai exclaimed. "So when's our next pillaging?"

Bowing to the lady now known as Finvarre, in his regjlar formal and chivalrus tone, he spoke, "Welcome, miss Finvarre, if you need me, i'll be just-" he stopped, noticing his captain's expression, "Hold on."

Striding over to him, his large feet causing a tiny ripple every step, he leaned foward, "Something wrong sir?"

I could feel energy in the air, growing and thickening overhead. The storm was not a small one, but a large thunderous beast. Light was going over the horizon- the sun taking its daily retreat behind the edge of the sea. Clouds were becoming more and more frequent in the skyline.

"And, of course, what we expected from the journey to the Omnivia Shores..."

I flashed my armor over my body, the light pouring over my frame so that I was staring at them from my closed visor. My voice came out in an echoed effect, filling the small space with several melodious tones.

"I'm prepared to help... Ajax. We Cae feel no pain, and can take much.. Where you choose to send me, I shall go."

Locking my determined ice blue eyes onto his, I waited for an order.

This will be interesting memory... If I live through it.

Ajax looked at Finvarre with a surprised look, but smiled as he unsheathed his sabers, looking back at his crew. "Alright, ya dogs! We're about to be greeted with a massive storm, but nothing this ship can't handle, right!?" Ajax laughed as his words sparked the right procedures in the mind of his crew as they prepared from the storm.
"Alright, Finvarre." Thinking on the name long enough, Ajax finally realized who was on his ship, and he chuckled before speaking. "I am not one to put passengers to work, but.. You do hold magnificent power, as the true Monarch of Dyseria." Ajax smirked before running to the edge of the ship and smiled. "I don't know what I was worried about." Ajax laughed at the massive storm ahead of him, its devastating roars of thunder and violent strikes of lightning barreling toward them. "This storm is nothing!"

At the same instant that an armor magically conjured itself on the lady, which remained a mystery to Double Z, the valiant warrior had his helmet adjusted, ready for the storm. He found it hard to keep his balance as the vessel swayed, the grey clouds of death looming above them in a menacing manor. He shouted orders to those of lower rank, helping the occasional clumsy fall-over-pirate.

"Your orders sir!?" he yelled, his voice being barely heard through the thundering crash of........well, thunder.

Nikolai adjusted his hat. "So how do we combat this storm?" He said as he saw the waters sway around the ship. Nikolai then lost his balance and fell over with a thud. "Dammit," He said as he gets up. "I really wish you could put a cover over this ship, because it's going to rain harder than 10,000 pounds of solid metal."

"And ruin this ships glorious visage!? No!"

Hopping onto the side rail, I balanced myself with the storms sway- leaping and grabbing onto the horizontal sail and following the rope.

"Ajax! Your Mizzen looks a little out of shape, and your Foremast is tilted too forward. The Barometric pressure is dropping rapidly!"

Moving quickly, I furled the sails with the sailors- my armor protecting me from what their training bodies were attuned to.

"Ajax, make sure that your rudder is slack, and can your keel withstand this?!"

Climbing down the shrouds, I quickly ran to the captains side- summoning my chakrams. Something was too dark about this storm- too malevolent and convenient. As though it were alive, commanded, more raw than what nature had already sculpted it to be.

Ajax laughed louder than the thunder at her question. "Of course she can!" Snapping back into reality, Ajax started pointing to his crew mates and their posts. "Come on ya salty dogs! THIS IS WHAT WE LIVE FOR! HA HA!" Ajax made his way to the bottom of the ship before turning around to see a black rock emerge from the waves, his ship heading right for it "We're just gonna have to see if it works now!".
Ajax ran up to the helm and grasped it as he prepared to make a hard turn to the right. "You should all grab a hold of something!" He shouted, "This is gonna take a lot of effort..!" He started to turn the wheel with all of his might, the ship slowly beginning to turn, and the rock was avoided with nothing left but a small graze. "My.. My ship!" Ajax growled as he steadied the ship as best as he could in the waves. "Phew.." Ajax wiped his forehead and saw the pitch black clouds above him. "You think THIS can stop us!?" Ajax said to the skies themselves, and looked at Finvarre as he shouted down to her from the helm above. "Y'see any other ship would be at the bottom of the sea by now!"

Though not knowlegable of how to fix other parts of the ship, Double Z found himself racing between moving crates of cargo as the ship swayed violently. This storm was much more powerful than any other; it just didn't seem natural.

"Not.....natural...."

An idea came to his head, but was booted out by Double Z, realising that it wasn't possible.

With little time to think, as a large crate slid towards a pirate who's face was firmly planted on the wooden planks, Double Z swiftly ran to the location with surprising speed, extending his arms and stopping the crate as the grunt stood, running away.

Nikolai quickly ran to fix the broken parts of the ship. "It's breaking faster than I can fix," he yelled as he hammered. Rain pelted him as he made his repairs. "I can't see, this rain is pelting my eyeballs shut!" He yelled as he struggled to make repairs. He was making a repair to the left side of the ship(the edge) when he fell. Now, he was hanging by the anchor and slipping fast. Nikolai kept his composure, even when he was near falling to a seemingly invetible doom in the raging ocean.

I saw the sailor, Nikolai, drop off the ship- then leaped after him in instinct. Aeterna My body now wrapped in my shimmering Cyan light, I slid after him. My right foot forward, I centered my weight on my left, leaned back as the light trailed after me without solidification.

"Hang on!"

My momentum increased steadily, causing a small jerk as I grabbed his waist and grinded on air toward the quarterdeck, dropping him off near his captain before moving toward the Mizzen, quickly sliding around it in a tightening pattern- solidifying the light to hold the mast straight. Following the Main and Fore masts, I did the same- before stopping in front of the captain once more. My eyes were red, anger coursing through me as I saw a new problem.

"Ajax, your Cannonade better be one hell of a shot. It seems as though Cthulu himself sent one of his eldest children after your ship- and he seems to be quite angry.. Though, I'm sure that the beast wasn't sent alone."

Majiik was in the air, so foreign and powerful that it almost felt like the divide itself. We are beyond screwed...

Ajax nodded with a sly smile. "So it would seem." Ajax waved to Double Z, the master gunner. "This will probably be the biggest fight of your life! I suggest getting those cannons ready if you want to tell it in the future!" Ajax shouted as he turned to be greeted by a giant, puke green sea monster, its tentacles wrapping around the front of the ship, whacking away crew mates with others.
"Fumbuckets.." Ajax scowled as he yelled to Double Z once more. "Get the Praedatum cannon ready!" Ajax yelled to Double Z, unsheathing his sabers and running on to one of the tentacles, beginning to slash at it with rage. "Hurt MY ship will you!" Ajax raged while stabbing and slashing tentacles, dodging oncoming ones and cutting off the tips. "Finvarre! We have to distract this thing until my main weapon is ready!"

(The Praedatum cannon is a HUGE front cannon inside the ship that will take 6 posts (In case you wanna extend it thus extending the fight.) to get running and will kill Cetus in one shot. :3

"Sir yes sir!" Yelled Double Z in reply to his captain's commands. But before he could sprint to the ship's main weapon, a large tentacle rose up from the water, coming down and striking the ship like thunder. Havi g dodged the slamming tentacle by jumping back, he lifted his immense hammer above his head. "CARLSON AND PETERS!" Deep beneath the water, a bellow of anger and pain could be heard.

Having dealt with the tentacle, he headed down to the room of the Praedatum.

"Who the hell is going to man the weapons?" Nikolai asked, as he saw the Cetus attacking. "The last thing we need is a giant monster destroying the ship." Nikolai then ran to the Praedatum, where he saw Double Z going near the weapons. "Need help? I know how to use one of these."
