I Began Some Test

There it was, the entrance to an almost unnoticeable cavern. A young man began stepping through the opening preparing himself for whatever could be looming deep inside.

The moment he stepped into the opening he would see a figure as his eyes adjusted to the difference or loss of light from the rather sparkling cave.

"Whose there identify your self or I will have no choice but to defend myself."

Looking more closely the young man could see a throwing knife wedged into the ground just a feet into the darkness, was this a warning? Even if it was not the young man did not intend to find out the answer to this question. Instead he decided to react to the current situation at hand.

The young man raised his fist into a boxing form, which oddly enough had been covered in metal gaunlets almost twice the size of a normal human hands. Aiming a punch upward the young man launched his fist at a rather large stalactite aiming to fling debris and droplets of water at the figure in a attempt to disorientate them.

"I, Genev shall not be threatened!"

Genev was careful to pay close attention to his opponents movements in response to his very own assault. Using his special skill to seemingly slow down time through his own perception, Genev visually analysed the female figures movememts almost perfectly. Just moments before shading herself from the flurry of debris Genev took note that the female figure attempted to reach for the knife. Normally doing so would not take harm to noitce but strangely enough she only briefly tapped it. This was cause for concern, what was her point for reaching for the knife if she did not intend on taking it, in any case Genev needed to take extra precaution around that suspicious knife.

Genev once again aimed to use the stalactites to his advanges. Grabbing and severing two rather sizable cone shaped stalactites from thier resting spot, Genev gently tossed one towards the direction of his opponent. Using the rather large dust cloud from his previous assault as cover he intended to trick his opponent using the rolling stalactite to mimic the sound of something approaching at a rather decent speed. Using this form of trickery could only have limited responses in Genev eyes. The young man would expect female figure to expose them self as some form of a suprise attack against what would seem like her target running blindly into the darkness but Genev needed to watch carefully instead of attacking blindly...

But it would seem that an another opportunity would present itself as Genev would hear the slight sound of a mocking laughter, this alone was just enough for the young man to pick up on a rough estimate of his opponents location. The young man would toss the cone shaped stalactite into the air using his "Future Gift", Genev would wait for the perfect moment to aim and thrust his right fist into the broken off bottom of the cone shaped weapon hitting it dead smack in the center of its base, sending the projectile flying at a dangerous speed towards the estimated direction of his opponent. If his guess was right his opponent would be in danger of falling victim to the pointed edge of the cone shaped stalactite. Even if the cone were to miss it would certainly reveal the true position of hidden young female.

These events that the young Genev set in motion did not go as exactly planned but, nonetheless Genev still had a few tricks up his sleeve. As his opponent shifted from thier hiding spot to avoid the spiked projectile, Genev would already start his counter attack sprinting forward as his opponent began to emit a very strange bright blinding light whose fluorescence only seemed to increase every second.

Eventually the light would take away his vision but fortunately for Genev, his ability to experince events at a slower pace them normal would allow for him to not only close his right eye preserving his vision but allowing his left eye to adjust to the change in light at a faster rate taking the blinding effect of immense radiating light to take longer then his opponent would suspect. In this brief moment the young man would continue to sprint forward as he managed to see his opponent toss two knives in his direction ricocheting tactfully to a place of their choosing.

Struggling to keep track of the first knife that managed to fly passed him Genev moved on to the second knife responding to it by moving into its trajectory and placing his quickly opening left fist into the projectiles path so that his palm would meet with the weapon. Just mere seconds before the knife would make contact, Genev would summon a portal to his palm allowing just the knife to fly through. Genev would shift to his right as the orb of light that followed flew towards him.

During this moment both orbs were sent flying behind him, Genev was able to recieve a momentary break from the blinding light of the orbs. Even with the almost non-existent vision in his left eye the young man was able to notice a third ball of light flying a different path then before causing the young man leap to the opposite wall away from the trajectory as he assumed the knife was meant for him but it would seem the knife made contact with another metallic object as a rather noticeable clink like sound spread through the cave followed by a loud...

POP!

Was this a gun shot? That is what the young man figured before a flurry of debris struck his body from rather small explosion luckily enough he wasn't directly next to the blast so he would only suffer mild scrapes and bruises. Inspite of this he would lose track of the remaining orb of light but it did not matter. The path to his opponent was open and there were no more blinding orbs of light in his bath to restrict his vision. Opening his right eye to get accurate location of his opponent he would continue to sprint forward as he now raised his left palm towards the female. Just it raised to an optimal height. Genev would open another portal on his left palm releasing the second knife thrown at him before right back at his opponent. Now that he was aware of the ability of the knives he intended not to allow his opponent to use thier ability a second time.

Following behind the knife Genev would raise his steel gauntlet fist into a boxing form once again prepared strike at the midsection of his opponent...  At this range it would be dangerous for the young lady to activate the explosive effect of her knive because not only would it harm Genev but herself in the process and considering the force of the previous blast it would not be able to fully stop Genev from his assault.
