The End of the Lightning Vaium

Rydar stepped across the Vasure plains, now in Conculare territory, ready to face his death. After being sent on a mission of espionage, he had hoped to pass here without trouble, but was sure that wouldn't be possible.

Zechs flew high in the sky with wings made of ice as he spotted an unknown figure on the Vasure Plains, and he dropped down to the ground, breaking his wings to bring his water back into his containers and stared coldly in the eyes of this intruder. "Who are you? State your business!" Zechs drew Arondight and pointed it at the stranger.

Rydar's lips curled downwards, forming an angry frown. He had been caught. There was nothing left to do; extending his arm, he shot out a small bolt of energy at the man, hoping his skill level was lower than Rydar's so that he could continue his mission.

Zechs stared indifferently at the oncoming attack with his icy glare. "Time Alter.. Double Accel!" Zechs glowed with magic as he side stepped the attack and ran at the intruder with a horizontal swing at incredible speeds.

Realising he had little time to dodge, he aimed his arm at the floor, shooting a bolt of electricity to boost him up into the air, allowing him to flip over the man. Afterwards, he jumped fowards, gaining distance before turning and shooting his paralyzing bolt at his foe.

The bolt of lightning traveled at a blinding speed, and would paralyze his foe if it hit him.

Zechs drew water from his contains and created two shields around his arms he used to put in front of himself to block the lightning strike. "It's time.." Zechs looked at his hand and saw a red symbol appear.

Rydar saw a red mark appear on his hand, and increased his defence. He knew he would have to fight truly and with all he had. He extended both arms, creating twenty bolts of energy around his body, shooting each and every one of them at the man at a high speed.

He then jumped back once more, increasing his guard and preparing for the upcoming attack.

A red circle with strange symbols and writings inside appeared before Zechs, and a blinding light came from it, as the light died down a figure emerged..



"Berserker!" The black knight stepped in front of Zechs and held his arms out, the bolts hitting him directly, Berserker let out a roar as the bolts gave him an incredible boost in strength and speed, a dark fog surrounded him as it flowed softly along the ground. Berserker quickly dashed with incredible speeds at the intruder with a red and black sword, coming down with a fast and powerful swing.

Understanding that his foe's speed was greater then his own, he instantly changed into his elemental form, the mass of his body changing into a grey cloud, emmiting lightning ernergy. At the same moment, he yelled out the words Lightning movement., his body turning into pure lightning, making his sped five times faster.

With this, he was able to step to the side and sprint towards his foe at a blinding speed, firing bolts of lightning at the man.

Zechs saw the bolts shot from his enemy and quickly made shields from his water and jumped at the Lightning Vaium, blocking the attacks as Berserker, his speed making him a blur, attacked from behind with a blindingly fast and massively strong strike.

Rydar eyes tightened close.

"This is it" he muttered, as the blade of berserker struck him in the back, breaking his bones and ending the life of the Lightning Vaium.

Berserker took the blade out and dissipated as Zechs sheathed his sword and the symbol on his hand disappeared, "What a foolish tactic.." Zechs said to himself as he made his way back to Majesty to report this encounter.
