Despite the command of fear he has over allies and enemies alike, Gareth is a calm and honorable soul, caring for his country and those within it, carrying out every order in the name of its prosperity.
His reputation as the portentous vanguard of Sanc is tied to his philosophies of war, only set upon if his prefaced branch of mercy is rejected. If those he faces truly intend to fight, then courtesy of all-out measures should only rightfully follow, and ensure absolute victory with no loose ends.
Appearance:
A menacing knight that consumes the light around him with his armor that is black as night, heavy plating that hardly exposes the joints, the chest wrapped tightly in a pristine shroud of crimson. Gareth in height is a towering man with an impassable demeanor, 6'4 and a powerful physique, rarely moving from his statue-like stillness. His black shroud that hangs over his chest gives the ghostly appearance of a phantom, giving cause to question his physical prescence among people who see him.
Only rarely does his helmet come off, a phantasmal iron face with a blood-red tail flowing off the back. His features are strong, jet black hair with gray areas that is kept clean and short, sapphire eyes that keep a disciplined expression, even underneath the armor.

His mere prescence adds burdening weight to any thing or object in the space he stands in, rendering speed and mobility near useless, creating any ground he is on to his own. Phantasmal warps at will in the immediate area, his sinister blade able to corrode metal and physical objects alike.
