Gidori Vs Monde

Slightly shocked by the fallen's poor choice of words, though still remaining his usual polite and mannerful self, he responded, "Yes......very simple." By this point, the sun had fully risen from it's slumber, shining rays of intensifying light down at Monde, forcing him to squint as he peered up at the sky.

"Are you going to come down here anytime soon?" He asked, slightly impatient.

"I don't know... will I?" He said, then stopping and flying towards Monde at a high speed.

Having had his guard raised, Monde reacted to the tiniest movement, instantly jumping to the side shooting two fireballs at his opponent, knowing that at the speed he flew, it would be difficult to dodge the speeding red balls of flame. By now, the mirages had faded, leaving a single Monde standing in the centre of the immense coliseum. He began charging a larger fireball, waiting for tbe right moment to attack.

"Nice stratagy, but, we Angels are nimble." He said, insantly stopping for a mere milisecond, and flying straight up, dodging the fireballs, "I need it to get dark, then I can defeat you with more ease."

Frowning, Monde stared at the sky, as if calculating how long it may take before it even begun to get gloomy. At the very least, six hours. Hopefully, Monde would win by then. Without speaking, he slowly moved his hand towards his shoulders, wings sprouted.

Wings of Fire

Monde's wings combusted, engulfed in raging flames. As they did, he felt an immense boost in power, and suddenly shot a massive sphere of flame which flew towards his foe at blinding speed.

"Let us see how nimble you are, friend."

I truly don't wish to go with my... other tactics... which requim some deception and Darkness... He thought, as he flew straight down, feeling the head on his boots, which bottoms burned off, "Damn, you're good, you are rather powerful."

Suddenly, a tactic began to form and, whilst still replying to the man's compliment by saying, "Thank you, you are powerful aswell.", thought about he would use speed instead of power to strike his foe. This time, extending both his hand, he shot two smaller fireballs with less than avarege power, in return for nearly tripled speed. He would not be able to dodge this.

Still relying on speed, the instant he shot out the first two, he began charging two new fireballs.

"Why do you wish to just use fire?" He said, going up, dodging the fireballs, "I can do this all day, truly." But, Can I last till night? That's a good 6 or so hours away, we will see.

Learning from his previous mistakes, Monde deactivated his wings of fire, allowing him the ability to fly once more. decided to fly casually fly upwards, confident that his opponent would not attack as he had not done so yet. As he came closer, he stopped, around twelve meters away from Gidori, extending both arms out. With the distance between them, he shot out one large fireball, similar to the one that burned the sole of his foot but with less power and speed, out of one arm, and another seconds later.

Gidori, seeing him fly up, flew down, and with maximum speed, managed to dodge, and felt the feet of his soles getting hot. "You just love fire don't you?"

Nodding as a reply, though remaining silent, Monde flew down at the same moment as Gidori did, matching his speed, though becoming extremeley tire. Once at the same level, he began pushing out his arms, shooting out a wave of fireballs, covering a large area in the sky with fireballs. If his foe tried to dodge one, he would have half a second to dodge the next. Upon doing so, he fluttered to the ground, taking this moment to regain his breath.

Gidori saw this, and sighed quickly pulling his wings in, and falling below quite a few the fireballs, and then caught himself near the bottom, in which he spun right above the fireball, avoiding it nearly although getting heated up, "please, Let it become dark soon. Considering that's when I can beat you.'

"Beat me?" Monde said, after a rather extended period of silence, "How are you so sure you will be victorious?" He asked, not attacking and instead regaining his energy.

"Because, I'm a master with Darkness, as you are with Fire." He said, resting, cooling his body with time.

Realising he had about three hours left, Monde lifted up his wings, mustering up all the enrgy he had gathered into a single burst of speed as he shot towards Gidori at an almost blinding speed. He extended his arm, which was shaking, and gathered up energy in it.

Soul Lock

If he managed to touch Gidori, which with his current speed was highley likely, His foe would be frosen. If he attempted to move to a side, he would simply swign his arm in the same direction to attempt to touch him.

Gidori saw this, and using a ton of energy, moved back, barely dodging the Anthi, "I.. can move faster then you think." He panted, sighing.

As they both panted, though Monde's were much heavier and louder, Monde pushed his foot with alot of his remaining energy, still having his Soul Locjk energy in his hand, leaping towards his foe with a small boost of speed which remained from his original burst, with one last attempt to freeze his opponent. Has his hand touched the man's chest, he froze his opponent's soul, freezing him for a short moment (with permission from Dann).

He used his last ditch attempt. and folded in his wings, falling below the Anthis reach, and then landing. "Yeesh, Quite the fighter you are."

Monde fluttered to the ground shakily, panting as he did, landing two or three meteres from Gidori's frozen position. Guessing that the fall would have hurt abit, even if small, Monde decided he should make this the finishing blow. He pulled back both his arms, releasing two moderatley large balls of flame, aimed at the Fallen's chest, which travelled at a moderate speed.

At the same moment, he jumped back, falling to his knees to regain energy.

He rooled sideways, as his right arm got seared to hell, and he yelped in pain, "Damn... that hurt..." He said, getting up, and leaning against a wall, "You hit me, good job."

Still panting, though not nearly as heavily, Monde smirked due to his first truly succesful attack. After a few seconds, he rised, though still slightly tired, he had regained enough energy to continues. One more our till dark. Then the difficulty would be doubled. Running towards his opponent, he shot two fireballs to both sides, incase he attempted to dodge, before stretching out his hand, attempting his Soul Burner Ability.

He jumped up, jumping off the wall, and flipped over Monde, and jumping forward, out of Mondes reach.

As the man flipped over him, Monde's fast reflexes suddenly returned to him. As Gidori passed over Monde, his hand flew up, after his foe had gone back, and aimed at Gidori. He charged a large fireball, which shot out before Gidori reached the floor. This was followed by two smaller but faster fireballs, aiming at his arm, and chest.

"You just don't give up, do you?" He said, noticing it was nearing night, and unveiled his wings, and flew up, his feet getting slightly burned again, "I'll need some burn ointment for my fee by the time this is over."

Laughing quietly, he decided to repeat his last successful attack, having fully replenished his energy by now, and unfolding his wings, releasing another massive burst of speed as he shot towards his foe like a speeding bullet. Though his arm was extended, instead of attempting to touch him, he released a large fireball as he speeded towards Gidori.
