Coven War - Regnum Backlines

"Tsiraan, control yourself. We aren't even on the lines yet".

Jiu exhaled. His older brother was like a dog that needed to be kept on a leash. The Regnum backlines marched quickly, yet steadily. Every step was evenly paced and disciplined. Any general would be proud to see such a sight, even when every angle was teeming with ravenous, leech savages. To a general of Regnum like Jiu, this was nothing special. Anything less of such uniformity would be punishable, but not by death. There are so many things worse than the reaper as our Lord Emperor has shown.
Iivae, Jiu's eldest sibling and only sister, pulled her steed beside Jiu and Tsiraan's. Like their, the horses they road were a sturdy build, darker than black and geared to the teeth for battle--literally. There were iron spikes on their mouths.
"How is the battle going?" Iivae asked in her usual, calmly set demeanour. She obviously did not care as this was on the level of an exercise, but it paid well to take everything seriously. She took everything seriously. Jiu cleared his throat.
"As expected. The rogue tactics taken by the savages are extending the push, but all it does is allow us to work the terrain more effectively. However, for reasons unknown, the tall grass refuses to light fire". Jiu spoke in the voice he used to address a superior, despite the fact his siblings were both the same ranking as he. Iivae nodded but kept silent, continuing to trod along beside them.
Jiu took a moment to scan the area, but found his gaze on Tsiraan, who was practically bouncing up and down at the prospect of a fun game to play. All of them shared similar traits-- light blonde hair, cut professionally according to gender, slanted brown eyes, olive skin, and thin, lanky builds. Dressed in typical, captain's armour of violet steel and cloth.
Sighing, Jiu began to count the minutes until he could go home to his archery range and enjoy a peaceful day.
