Maybe we should do a three year time skip from the time of the current story and maybe sum up the past events in like a paragraph or something. This would allow for new races to appear while also giving old races power up's/additional abilities. I suggest any characters people don't want since our last time here can be considered dead via story events if they joined.

What do you guys think?

Ya know, that's not too bad of an idea, although there are a few things. Would we delete everything, and just ditch the past beyond that paragraph?

Not delete it just change it so that theirs room for expansion from older ideas having some of dark ire become mapped etc.
