Ghem Valor

Terran Wards

These sections of the city line the valley walls, functioning as the living quarters and training centers of Ghem Valor's military personnel, thought to be the finest branch of Kasterran military. Though only a small portion of these wards are visible upon entry into Ghem Valor, they are in truth each vast and winding complexes built within the interior of the surrounding mountains, host to an entire army that remains hidden from the public eye.

Nythe District

Though bearing the title of "district", Nythe is actually the name of Ghem Valor's university, an academic establishment whose halls and facilities spread throughout the valley, forming a vast campus for its scholars to live among the prosperous city. It is located towards the southern end of the valley, placing it right against the city's entrance and connecting to the snaking stairwells that ascend up the mountains.

Core District

A marketplace built atop a great platform in the heart of Ghem Valor. It is the point of intersection for a majority of the mountainside roads, and a place where numerous bridges connect in a complex web construction, all wedged between nature's providence. Though it is easily the busiest area of the city, and the core of its economic activity, the general atmosphere is still nonetheless quiet.it is particularly notable for its atmosphere of near-silence.

Rail Passage

The Rail is a vast tower built up from the very depths of Ghem Valor, connected to the Core District by a lone bridge which passes under it and leads directly through to the entrance to Ghem Setta. It is the only building in Ghem Valor that reaches the valley floor, and within it, the most magically adept in the kingdom work to guarantee the security of Kasterra's twin capitals. The Rail is Ghem Valor's eye, projecting an invisible boundary around the city that ensures any disturbance swiftly disappears, vanishing into thin air.
