Kasterra

Ghem Setta

Deep underground lies the capital of Kasterra, a hidden city constructed in a hollow world. Otherwise known as the "City of Light", it exists in an unprecedented expanse of underground space, hollowed out through unknown means during the birth of the Kasterran kingdom. Ghem Setta's shining metropolis is burrowed within a dome of earth, its walls lined with luminescent crystal that bathes the citadel in the ocean-green hue of an artificial sky.

Ghem Valor

A stalwart city caught deep within a narrow valley. Its architecture is embedded into the mountainous walls surrounding it, forming an interconnected city of bridges and platforms that fills the empty space between the risen earth. Ghem Valor is the sister city of Ghem Setta; it is its front gate and iron wall, a passageway that houses the kingdom's military might and academic prestige. Ghem Valor's citizens live with comfortable smiles under a watchful and wholly unrelenting eye.

Boundary Auroroa

If Ghem Setta is to be considered the soul of Kasterra, then Boundary Auroroa could be called its beating heart. It is the kingdom's vastest territory; a luminous cityscape built atop a vast mountain range that overlooks the edges of the world. Deep within the core of the mountains, in cities carved into the land itself, the kingdom's wealthiest reside in Auroroa's innermost sectors. However, the city's reputable beauty is the result of a phenomenon only recently uncovered with the construction of its inner districts. At night, the mountain's peak will glow a pale color and light up the dark skies.

Outer Kasterra

The outermost regions of Kasterran territory. As settlements move further and further from the capital, they escape the reach of the law's hand. Towns and villages are ruled by local nobles - in theory, on behalf of the monarch, but in practice, they are quasi-regents. The dredges of Kasterra's societies are swept to its borders and forgotten about, left to mingle in the murky world of crime, poverty and corruption.

Sylvarian Woods

A vast, malignant growth of forestry, resulting in a hidden world within a natural labyrinth of trees. The unexplored forest occupies a vast section of Kasterran territory. Though its growth has been contained, all attempts to venture within the forest have failed, as have subsequent rescue missions. Entry, though not forbidden by the Kasterran military, is ill-advised for those that wish to return.
