Don't Shoot the Messenger... [Dante and Reliatos]

Dante sat peacefully in the ever so small clearing of the Esthler Forest where the maze of pine trees parted ways to make room for a small river, being constantly fed a continuous stream of water escaping from a cavern deep within the mountain cliff. sat.Somewhere within this forest was said he to be a cave that inhabited a beast that was brought into existance shortly after Ae'Ire very own creation. Of course this could have be a myth or a innocent scary tale to keep children out of this forest but Dante as been sure there was something here.

Occasionally scattered throughout the forest Dante would find large and gaping claw marks slashed into the large line trees bloodied corpses or animals as small as a Zechs to as big as a mountain lion. Even over the past several weeks there has been reported sightings of a unidentified animal like creature roaming through the forest at blurring speeds.

With this information in mind Dante had made his way to the only freshwater source of hydration for twenty miles right within the center of both his findings and reported sightings. The Antitheus sat with his feet resting in the chilling water as he whistled loudly in attempt to attract the attention of something in the area. A small bulge could be seen hidden under his leather combat trench coat as the Antitheus had his twin Gunblades waiting for the beast to show himself.

"Oh, no.... I am a defenseless human. I hope nothing tries to attack me!"

Dante closed his eyes as heard the voice of another being he was hesitant of removing his weapon from it's hiding spot but he felt it would he better than leaving himself defenseless... Pulling both his pistols out of his pockets he would quickly roll to the left without much word positioning himself directly onto his stomach. Pointing both gun blades at the humanoid life form he had quickly determined this frail shadowy figure was not the beast he was looking for, or was he? Still pointing his gun blades at this new and mysterious figure Dante lifted his body slowly smirking at the figure with a face full of disappointment. Confused as to why the figure was he he decided not to lower his weapons even though he currently did not sense and I'll intent. Pacing around the figure he decided to address it seeing as how it seemed rather familiar with this area than the Antitheus had been,

"Of course I'm not defenseless... Are anyone these days? As far as being lost I would say I have found my way around these parts rather easily although I could always use an extra hand. But before that I would like to ask you a question that you probably would have presented yourself... What are you doing in this part of the Esthler Forest? Oh sure you were able to sneak up on me without being noticed until you spoke but that doesn't mean you can handle the deadly beast said to he roaming the forest? Or am I just being silly could you be the deadly beast or even more the one that's controlling it if so this may turn out to a very interesting meeting."
