His blood red eyes no longer filled with blood lust but calm determination. He's calculated but is still willing to go to extremes to get his way because nothing is more important then the mission. Reviving Xixas. Whatever it takes.

Backstory: Sumaru was found by Xixas Averall as a boy who had just been turned into a vampire. His whole life had flipped upside down as he obtained new found power. Xixas took the boy in as his ward and this was where he met one of his best friends. Zechs Renaurd the current King of Sanc. He loved being loyal to Xixas but somewhere along the way he lost himself. He became obsessed with power as he felt he wouldn't be able to protect the life he had built in Concuclare. He felt like he needed to be so much more so he set out on his own after a few years to train and see the world. His intentions made sense to himself at the time but of course they did. He was a self absorbed naive teenager who distanced himself from the one place he called home. All he wanted to do was go home. But when he finally came back it was too late. Xixas barred anyone and everyone from entering Concuclare. This caused Sumaru to go off on his own once more. Eventually he came up with the bright idea to steal Xixas' power in his weakened state. This resulted in Sumaru killing his mentor. The one man who saw potential in that scared little vampire boy all those years ago. With his father figure gone and nothing but his mentor's Scythe in it's docile form and the company of his girlfriend at the time Azumai, Sumaru's mental state broke even more. He thought he was lost and didn't know what to do but he was sure at the time that he could do anything. He felt like he was the strongest in the world and that nothing could harm him. His cockyness made him threaten the vampire council after they sought out Xixas' help in the upcoming war not knowing Sumaru had killed him earlier on. Sumaru offered his services but they were denied and they ended up executing Oura Keyn. Sumaru had grown a soft spot on her as he felt like she needed him but what she needed was Xixas. This caused Sumaru to go after her brother who he blamed at the time for her death even though he had nothing to do with it. In the heat of their battle Sumaru killed his partner Azumai as she wanted the bloodshed to end. She wanted no more vampire blood to be spilled but her death pushed Sumaru further down a path he couldn't. After finishing of Trenner, leaving nothing but his lower torso in the place of where he once was he wandered into the battlefield killing anyone in his way. It was at that moment he spotted someone. His old best friend Zechs. In his crazed frenzy Sumaru lunged at him. His primal survival instincts going into overdrive. He was met with the blunt size of Zechs sword and was slapped away. He watched as Zechs turned his attention somewhere else and shrugged him off like he was nothing. That was the mistake he made. Sumaru was going to show him to never underestimate him again. He flew up into the skies above the battlefield and unleashed his ultimate attack. Rising Sun. He decimated the battlefield. The burnt plains were covered in ash and burnt bodies. The screams of burning people echoed throughout the war zones. Sumaru basked in his glory but almost as soon as the Rising Sun was summoned. It was gone. He saw snowflakes falling around him and he knew what had happened. He turned his attention elsewhere the same way Zechs had done to him and he finally locked eyes with him. The Fourth King himself was in sight. Sumaru took this as a chance to kill him but was instantly incapacitated. When he awoke it was as if he were in a reality marble of sorts. He looked around and saw Xixas. They shared a moment together and Sumaru was then given his blessing. He awoke on the battlefield with Xixas' scythe in it's prime form. He and the Fourth King would then fight to the death in a fight that humbled and put Sumaru in the worst shape of his life. Years later Sumaru now has black hair as he hides his identity. In the years gone by he endured hell training with the Young Lady and is in the best shape of his life. He's mentally more mature and stronger then he ever realized he could be. His primary goal is too revive Xixas and nothing will ever get in the way of that.
